Prior’s Field School, Godalming
Pottinger Architects were instructed to
explore the feasibility of a new head teacher’s house within the grounds of
a grade 2 listed building by CFA Voysey.
Complicated planning, green belt and
conservation area concerns were addressed in
the development of a building that is
sympathetic to its context while providing stylish living
accommodation.
The school will use the house as a significant
aide to recruiting high quality candidates for the
head teacher position.
